In the spirit of innovation and experimentation, Penfolds is thrilled to announce two new wines in the range, Superblend.

These wines are made from A-Grade cabernet sauvignon and A-Grade shiraz from a wonderful harvest; new French and American oak barrels of the highest quality …and that much-coveted ingredient, time.

Two siblings, differently assembled and raised in different environments. These two wines are immediately Penfolds, yet different …propelling varied attributes that will challenge and engage. This powerful pair will be released sequentially and are designed to be collected.

The first release, Superblend 802.A Cabernet Shiraz is now available.

The cabernet sauvignon makes its structural presence felt comprising 68% of the blend, while the 32% shiraz contribution adds generosity. Unashamedly bold, immediately Penfolds.

This is the first release in a landmark duo which is available now. The second release, Superblend 802.B Cabernet Shiraz 2018 will be available in late 2022.
